first three months of pregnancy?

i know these months are the most crucial, but what if you didnt know you were pregnant. I mean there has to be a large number of women who find out in their second trimester. My question is, how concerned should i be that i had a few drinks, and took pain medication in my first trimester?

is it okay to take folic acid all through out the pregnancy period?(9 months)?

our doctor adviced my wife to take folic acid supplements for the first trimester of her pregnancy. Now she is on her 5th month but she is still taking folic acid up to now(not as frequent as compared to the first trimester). shes taking it maybe 4-5 times a week.

Am I normal in my first trimester?

I am currently 6 weeks pregnant – so my baby is about 4 weeks old. I am going slightly crazy, I think. I worry all the time that something is wrong with my baby – like an eptopic pregnancy or a miscarriage. Also, I feel so strange! Some days, I am nauseated, but other days I feel fine. Sometimes, I feel almost like I have an extemely low grade fever, and a slight headache. I am almost always tired, and I am noticing a lot more discharge than normal, although it’s totally clear. Is this normal? Am I just insane?
I also wanted to add that I have some very light cramping occasionally and also have been constipated and gassy.

Total Panic – Regular binge drinking through first trimester?

OK …I’m in a total panic. I am 7 months pregnant, and did not realize until the end of the first trimester (I had a couple of instances of pregnancy related bleeding that I thought were my period). My husband and I would regulalry drink on the weekends … pretty heavily sometimes. During the first trimester there were a number of birthday celebrations, vacations, summer parties, etc. As soon as I realized, I stopped drinking entirely. I had an ultrasound at 21 weeks to date the pregnancy, and was told everything looked perfect, but I’m still freaked.
PLEASE do not be judgmental or tell me about the harm I’ve done. I do enough beating up of myself … and do not need any harsh words to add to the stress. Instead, if you could just pass along stories you know where others drank this long or longer and had healthy children I’d really appreciate it. Thanks so much ….

Is it normal to be dizzy and light-headed in the first trimester?

I feel like puking, I am dizzy, I feel like I want to faint if I get up too quick.
This is my second pregnancy and I don’t remember feeling like this with my first.
Is this normal?–
Oh and I am healthy, had all of my bloodwork come back normal..so is it just being pregnant??

Showing in first trimester?

I had one child 8 years ago. This is my second pregnancy. I am nearing the end of the first trimester, gained 1 pound but my belly is round!

I started out a little bit chubby, but muscular (5′2″ / 136 / 16% body fat).

Is this normal? Seems in the last week or so my belly has gotten pretty round.

Has anyone else started to show like this in their first trimester?

Folic Acid and First Trimester?

I was up to my third month in pregnancy when i went to my first prenatal appointment and didn’t take any prenatal vitamins or anything. I’m worried that i went through a FULL TRIMESTER without taking them and that perhaps my baby ( i am now 7 months) is affected by that. i take them now=….question is. If something were wrong with her the docotor and the staff would have picked up on it right? I have my blood drawn and had a sono.

During EARLY pregnancy (first trimester) or as early as getting your first positive pregnancy test is being more aroused and turned on common? Were u more turned on during the first few weeks of pregnancy or didnt want sex?
